Strida Folding Bike at Toronto International Boat Show

The leading choice in folding bicycles for sailors is the Strida 5.0. Since Stridas take 6 seconds to fold and unfold, are completely rustproof, stow cleanly because of the kevlar belt – no grease or oil, and are the lightest at 22 lbs., the bike earned editor’s choice by Motorboat and Sailing magazine.

We areĀ  an exhibitor, demoing the Strida folding bike at the Toronto International Boat Show from January 9-17 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. Please stop by our booth right in the midst of the big boats and tall sails; we’ll be delighted to see you and show you the real Strida.

Please ask about our Boat Show Specials.

left my comment in the wrong place! Not very technical, but do like bikes. Your sail looks great!

I want to buy a couple of bikes for my clients who are sailing around the world. Can I get a good deal?

  2. Steve says:

Come and see us at the Boat Show(or call or email me), until next Sun (17th) we have a Boat Show special on our Stridas.

  3. suzieq says:

What a great idea! If so, what is the range of your delivery area?

  4. Steve says:

    Thank you!

Although we have shipped Stridas from Tokyo to Brazil, our bikes are shipped FREE anywhere in continental North America.

  5. Bruce says:

I don’t ride, I am more into flying, but I bought a Strida for the plane and I can now go from the airport to the local town. I think I will get one for my son. The bike is so easy to handle and the bright colours are great.

  6. William J says:

I made the mistake of buying the cheap <$200.00 folders sold at the chandlery – what a heavy (almost)useless disaster. For six years I had them stowed on board, but after trying them a couple of times I never wanted to get them out.
Last summer we bought 2 Strida bikes and ride at just about every destination; cheaper and better food in towns away from port and great for a bit of exercise. -Bill

Finally, a well designed commuting tool for the commuting fool. The idea of using the bikes for pleasure (stowing in the boat on the weekends) as well as for my daily commute really puts me over the top.
